I watched Selina disappear into the library, her shoulders hunched like she was trying to make herself smaller.
My heart ached for her… I knew she was going through something we all couldn’t understand.
“Should we go after her?” Kira asked, half-standing.
“No. Give her some space.” I gathered my things. “She needs time to process without us hovering.”
“But…”
“Trust me. Sometimes the worst thing you can do is force someone to talk before they’re ready.” I slung my bag over my shoulder. “I’ll check on her later.”
