Sera’s POV I wasn’t really asleep when Selina slipped out of bed. I’d been lying there in my bunk for the past hour, staring at the wooden ceiling and listening to Melissa’s obnoxious snoring. Hannah and Claire had passed out almost immediately, exhausted from the day’s activities, but I found it hard to sleep. It always did on the first night of any trip. New places usually make me feel restless. My wolf was hyperaware of our surroundings. So when I heard the soft creak of Selina’s bunk above mine, when I heard her careful movements as she climbed down…I was instantly alert. I cracked one eye open just enough to see through my lashes.
