Selina’s POV The three rogue wolves circled us, their movements were coordinated in a way that made my blood run cold. My wolf snarled, hackles raised, ready to fight. But something felt wrong. The rogues weren’t looking at Marcus. Their red eyes were fixed solely on me, tracking my every movement while completely ignoring the other wolf in their midst. Marcus shifted back to human form, stumbling backward. “Selina, I…” One of the rogues lunged at me. It was as if they were deliberately avoiding him. My wolf dodged, its teeth snapping at empty air. Another rogue came from the right, herding me away from Marcus. The third cut off my escape route back toward the pack territory.
