Rhett scanned the room, his gaze stopping at each supernatural being in turn. “I understand that you all have questions, but I would like to begin by saying that I am here because there is a great danger looming over all of us.”
“What danger?” Talia asked, her voice laced with suspicion.
“A darkness is coming, one that threatens to destroy us all,” Rhett replied gravely.
