Shoto and Ryan got into the house. Lawhey was trying out some of Heltons inventions. The moment Shoto walked in Helton apologized for the actions of Smithsonian.
Helton saw Shoto's bright red scales and asked.
"When was the last time you shed?"
"Shed", Shoto said looking confused.
"You mean you haven't shed before. Dragon must shed, for instance, if you had shed your scales, you would have reproduce a much stronger one."
Helton touch Shoto's nape, suddenly the scales retracted and the room was filled with gas. Shoto immediately closed it, he opened the windows to let the gas out. Everyone was passed out, Shoto was surprised. He didn't know how Helton retracted his scales. He waited for them to gain consciousness. He killed time looking at Heltons inventions.
