Great, another kid to make fun of me. I don't look up, better using my attention towards packing the rest of my things in my bag.
However, I become interested when I hear a few gasps and awes from my other classmates. Curious, I look up and almost faint myself. Its him... no it can't be. There's no way the handsome guy who moved next to us was in my class right now. I stare at his wavy shiny black hair and those dark eyes. He's wearing a u-line crimson shirt that defined his nice physique and dark pants matched with black sneakers.
He made everyone hush up, as if we were all frozen in place. I'm frozen in place. He's. so. handsome... Get it together. There's is no way in hell that he would even notice me like that so I should stop feeling so drawn to him, like most of the class is.
"So Dennis, say hello to the class."
"Hey." His voice is deep and smooth. He sticks his hands in his pockets as all of the girls except me squeal hello back, even a few of the guys join in. I stand at the back of the class hidden, dumbfounded that the guy I saw yesterday is really here, becoming apart of my class.
"Tell us a few things about yourself Dennis."
"Well, there's not much. Me and my mom just moved out here like two days ago. Before that we lived in the city, but I liked swimming a lot."
"I like swimming too!" Tyffiny annoyingly steps forward with her blonde hair pulled high in a ponytail, want dripping all over her. She smiles slightly at Dennis and he sadly keeps eye contact. I guess if you're pretty and blonde you can attract about anyone in this world.
Mr. Goldenburg coughs as he walks to Dennis side, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"We don't have time today, but tomorrow Wednesday we are going to be assigning someone to help Dennis around the school, just so he can get better acquainted with it" Some of the girls giggle flirtingly as the rest shoot their hands into the air, mouthing "me" as Mr. Goldenberg shakes his head.
"Sorry ladies, I won't be choosing. Actually it will be at random who gets to help him around tomorrow."
I sigh, realizing what this meant. I'm the most unpopular girl at this school and after he finds that out, he'll join them. And worse, he'll be living next to me. The bell rings but no one leaves to go home. Instead they crowd around Dennis, asking him various questions about his old town and if he's single.
I figured that I probably should return home before Dennis did, so we didn't meet each other on the path. God forbid he see me and get personally scarred forever.

I get home, opening the doors. No ones home... thank god. I'm still paranoid that my father will just waltz in as i'm trying to write, but hopefully that doesn't happen.
I sit down in our computer desk, forcing off my backpack and opening the browser.
I was supposed to upload yesterday but I didn't have a chance to because of the 'incident' so now I have a whole bunch of angry fans blowing up my dms. I answer a few of them, making clear that there was a problem I had to deal with, and then went back to my story.
He leaves reluctantly. Disappearing behind the moonlit forest. Patty felt like she was going to throw up. The other pack members growl at her. She knew that she wouldn't be safe here without him. Without Dillan...
The wolf members jump around her, growling furiously. When Dillan is here, they stay on their best behavior but when he's not, they only recognize a newcomer who isn't welcomed. Patty slowly backs away from them until her back lay flat against a tree. Her breathing goes faster...

Its about 6 pm and my hands feel sore. I'd usually take breaks between the times but I really needed to finish this chapter. I publish and exit out of the browser, knowing full well that my Dad would be coming home in a hour. I grab my backpack and head into the safety of my room, sitting by the window.
I feel tired and groggy as I open my homework for today. I have to annotate an entire paragraph and also write a short essay as to why I think it's important. Honestly, I don't think its significant in anyway, but I need to bring the A's home I guess. I continue squibbling notes onto my sheet before I see something in my peripheral vision. I look through the window and there you have it, It's Dennis.
He's walking home on the old dirt road too. Huh, its weird, I wonder where he was before? I would've thought he'd be swarmed with girls and guys who would want to be his friend. I try to hide half my face behind the window sill as I look down. I can't help but swoon every time my eyes would meet his face.
He honestly is very handsome... and dark. There's something about him that makes me want to know him, but honestly I know that won't ever happen. I bite my bottom lip as he disappears behind his house's door. At least I have my imagination, right?
Well that's enough stalking for one day, time to get back to work. After a few moments, I hear keys jingle in the slot of our downstairs lock. Its probably Mom, but I won't come out to find out.
Someone knocks on the door of my room, and I jump a little until I hear the voice of my Mom.
"Open this damn door." I sigh and open the door reluctantly.
She's in her usual job attire.
"You forgot to take out the trash from this morning. Go."
"But i'm bu-"
"Don't let me tell you again Emily." With that she leaves the room. I heavily roll my eyes as I put on the slippers in the living room. I better make this quick.
I walk out into the dimming day with a large bag filled with junk and go to the trash can in front of our apartment. I push it in there, but not before looking back at his house. Its dark inside as if no one was there. I shrug, about to go inside when i spot something in the grass on their property.
