"But turns out I'm fine. And also we got to move to this apartment that's like close to the lake so that's pretty cool."
"Wait, there's a lake around here??" Dennis's eyes light up, and it takes me a second to realize that he did move here recently.
"Yeah, I can show you sometimes."
"That would be awesome Emily."
I look away as I blush hotly, feeling his smirk on me again. God, I haven't even known him for
that long and already I'm acting like this. Maybe cause its the first time I've ever got this type of
attention, but now I get to experience it fully.
"What's on your mind?" He asks, his voice deep.
"My mind? Uh, nothing to worry your head about."
"You forgot pretty in that sentence."
"No I didn't you narcissist." I joke as I elbow him slightly, causing him to fake die.
