We look between each other and Dennis nods his head for the go ahead, if I'm comfortable. I sigh.
"Well, to be completely honest, we really started bonding after you ripped out pages from my journal and locked me in that broom closet so."
"Oh... right. Sorry about that again... wait Dennis you were the one that let her out?"
"Yeah. After hearing you guys talking about in one of the classes I went down to get her." Dennis says uncomfortably as a bunch of unwanted emotions surface from that event. That's what I mean by me not fully trusting or accepting her yet.
I still have all this pent up anger, but I can feel it diluting just a bit every time I go to talk with Mr. Gunnies. I feel like if it wasn't for me, I would've thrown Tyffiny's apology right back in her face.
