We put down our empty plates and stretch for the time being. My mom doesn't usually come back for a few hours so we can basically do whatever we want until then. Also, when my Father sleeps, he legit sleeps for the whole day. Maybe I got it from him.
A seagull takes my attention as it lands a few feet away from me, but I don't have time to tell Dennis about it because a stream of water splashes on the side of my face.
"Ugh! What the hell??"
"HAHAHA, got you!"
"Dennis, are you like 12?!"
"I don't know. Are you like 70 with your slow ass reactions?"
Alright, that's it. He's getting it now. I quickly plunge my hands through the water and force it to splash directly at Dennis's unsuspecting face. I then bust out laughing watching him sputter.
"Hey, that was a cheap shot."
