It was 5 PM and school hours were over. I was more than relieved that I didn't encounter Jake throughout the session, I hoped he would understand that we could never be together again.
I wasn't sure what my reaction would be if he tries to make another move at me, and I didn't want to give him the impression that I still wanted him.
