He shrieked and left me, staring at his finger with a shocked expression. The moment I felt his weight relieve me a little, I pushed him off me completely, rolled out of bed, and fled the room.
I bumped into Flynn in the hallway and he looked concerned when he sighted me.
"Ma'am, you should not be out here--
"There is someone in there! A thief. He snuck in and was trying to.. he was going to hurt me!"
"A thief?" Flynn's brows tapered.
"Yes! In Asher's room. He's in there right now, follow me." Before he could argue, I had taken his wrist and was leading him toward Asher's room.
