Chapter 2

912 Words
Nathan... "Danny! Why's there a chick in your house?" Nathan screamed, setting me back on my feet. Nobody was there and no one saw me except for Nathan. Idea!! Crazy idea, but when do I ever have normal ideas? I looked at him gave him a wicked smirk and ran up the stairs before anyone had a chance to see me. Coming to a halt at the end of the stairs I quickly turn around to see Nathan staring at me. "Like what you see?" I asked so only he could hear me. "Mabey..." he drawled out raising an eyebrow. I heard voices coming towards us and I ran into my room grabbing some money, my phone, lipstick, and my bike keys pushing everything into the front pockets of my jeans and thanking myself for already changing when I got home. I opened the window leaving the music still on for my plan to work. I threw my black heels to the ground and sat on the edge of the window ledge. Making sure where my heels landed I scooted off the ledge and landed bending my knees, and landing kind off in a Spiderman position. I heard yelling from above as I quickly put on my heels, looking up I see Nathan standing there with the rest of his friends at his side, all looking down at me with impressed looks etched on their faces. I pulled my red lipstick out of my pocket with my phone in and put some on. Looking up again I didn't see anyone there. Mabey they left it. Hopefully!! I walked to my bike putting the lipstick back in my pocket and taking the keys out with my other hand. "Who the hell are you?" One of the guys screamed at me as I sat on my bike and started it. I chuckled darkly, "Oh, me?" I was about to continue when I saw Danny he gave me a smirk, waved at me and nodded his head, signalling it's fine if I go. I smiled at him and looked back at the rest of them; they all had confused and determined looks on their faces, making my face serious again I replied their previous question, "I'm your worst nightmare!" And with that said I sped off towards my final destination. ~¤~ After driving a few minutes, I arrive at my best guy friend, Nick's house. I've known him for a long time. Our parents knew each other through work related stuff and we basically grew up together. We were really close. We tried dating once but it didn't feel any different because we have a VERY weird friendship and it just felt wrong for some reason. As I pull up into the driveway, Nick comes running down the stairs, he was about half way to me when I got off my bike and he pulled me flush against his chest, giving me a hug. "I thought you forgot about me!" He gasped fake hurt coating his face as he clutched a hand over his heart. "No, I didn't, I just had some complications leaving the house." Remembering a few minutes ago, their shocked faces when they saw me. Nick walked back up the steps, locked the door and came back down. "Parents?" I asked turning my head to the side. "Nope" he said popping the 'p', "yours?" "Nope," I reply by mocking him an also popping the 'p'. "Danny?" He asked sighing. I furrowed my eyebrows for a second before answering, "Uhmm, actually Danny plus five." I laugh nervously at the end of my statement. "Was the complications you had leaving your house also Danny plus five?" Nick asked walking over to his black car, throwing his bag onto the passenger seat. "Actually first it was just one and then I had an idea, aft-" I was busy trying to explain what happened when Nick interrupted me. "An idea?" He said carefully, then throwing his hands up in the air and sighing, "Please tell me you did not jump out of your window. AGAIN!?" Shizz! "Ok. I did not jump out of a window...." I drawled out looking at him. He started laughing then we looked at each other and at the same time said, "Shhhhh, we jumped out a window," we copied from Big Hero 6. Looking at him after we stopped laughing, I asked, "Taking the car for in case?" "Duh!" Nick made a dumb face and continued, "we can't always ride just on your bike, what if someone comes with or something then we need a car!" "Ok, I'll ride, you follow in the car," I explained getting on my bike. "I know where you live!" He yelled back at me. "Ok, since you know," I gave him a knowing smirk, and he smirked right back, "we race; the winner gets to choose what's for dinner," Nick had a very fast car so at least it's not unfair, he got in and we both stood at the end of the driveway, ready to speed off towards my house, "Helmet!" Nick yelled. "Left mine at home, hence complications," I said. He reached over to the backseat of his car and handed me a black helmet, he always kept one for me in his care just in case. "Thanks!" I yelled back, strapping the helmet in place and getting ready. Nick honked the car horn for us to begin and we both sped off.
