Dominic had barely stepped out of the security office when his phone buzzed. Alexis Mackay's name flashed across the screen, and when he picked up, the man's voice was shaking so badly it was almost comical.
"Sir, Benny Scar just called me. He wants me at the Emberly Grand Hotel tonight. Invited me to 'sit down and talk.'"
Dominic's eyebrow ticked upward at the mention of Benny Scar, the man who certainly had a flair for making himself known. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Well, if the man's extending an invitation, you should go."
The silence on the other end lasted about half a second before Alexis sounded like he was about to burst into tears. "Sir, you don't understand what the Emberly Grand Hotel actually is."
