Chapter Fourteen Through the Glass, Darkly Shultz woke up after a restless nap in his small, suburban Miami house, and made coffee before going back to his office where the gold was. It was nine o’clock in the morning. He still couldn’t believe it. To reassure himself, he opened the wall safe again, and put the gold on his desk. That safe held all the cash assets he’d been able to accumulate, less than seventy thousand dollars. Pathetic. Shultz laughed. He’d use that for tip money from now on.
