Angela sat on the edge of her bed.  Cladd could tell she was thinking of something, her wings were out a bit further than usual.  She held the piece of her mother’s dress in her fingers and stroked lightly between her forefinger and her thumb.  It was like holding on to a ghost to her.  She thought of her real Mother and wondered if she missed her.  She was sure that she did, but farm life is hard, and you have to always be pushing forward no matter what happened the day before.  She suddenly felt so lonely for her mother, she wanted to hear her voice and help her make dinner.  Tears began to fall from her eyes and Cladd finally went to her. “My Love, what bothers your heart so?” Cladd put his arm around her and sat next to her on the bed. “I do not know.  I feel like I miss my Mother so
