New mate, old feelings

1710 Words
“Well now that we are all together and Angela has finished her last phase of maturing it is time to start getting down to business.”  Marta walked from behind the tree and nodded to Adden who was still angry with her for tricking him.  “Let us retire to my humble abode.” And she started walking in the forest.  Adden walked and started spreading his wings, he was stiff all over but otherwise felt fine.  He thought of his last night with Delilah and how happy she looked, how beautiful she looked.  His heart sank when he realized that she was no longer here.  He looked over at his daughter and could not believe how beautiful she was.  She looked so much like Delilah, she would be proud.  Adden walked next to Angela “So tell me all about yourself.  Where did you grow up, who raised you, were they good to you?  I want to know everything.” Adden and Angela walked and talked about everything.  She felt so comfortable with him and they giggled the same and they had the same manners.  She told him all about the small village where she grew up and how great her parents were to her.  She told him about moving to the castle and how her father finally told her she was not their daughter.  She told him about how it made sense right away to her because she always felt like she was from somewhere else.  She admitted that she will always think of them as her parents and hoped it did not hurt his feelings.  She talked about how Cladd had saved her from the guards and how they fell in love.  “My Angel, I love that you love your parents.  I love them too for taking such good care of you and they are your parents.  But please let me be your Father too.  I desire nothing more from you than having you call me Father and allowing me to be part of your life as a Father.” Adden almost begged her. Angela stopped and turned to look at him “You are my Father, and I will treat you as such and thank you for allowing me to keep my other parents in my heart as well.  I feel so many things right now, but love is the dominating feeling.” She reached out and took his hand and they walked in silence together.  Happy to be together finally. Cladd and Emmaline walked behind them and listened mostly.  Cladd occasionally looked over at Emmaline and noticed how she would look so intently at Adden.  He was surprised because she had been very casual and relaxed with them, so sure of herself and now she was fidgeting. “Are you okay?” Cladd finally asked. “I don’t know.  I have this weird feeling in my stomach, and I feel like either laughing or vomiting right now.” Emmaline admitted and she glanced back to Adden and then looked down. “He is your mate.” Cladd finally said to her “I can sense it. That is why you are having all these strange feelings.  He might be too wrapped up in meeting Angela that he hasn’t noticed yet.” Emmaline stopped and so did Cladd. “Don’t fool with me.” She squinted her eyes at him “Are you sure?” “I would never lie about something like that.  Just be patient and he will feel it too.” Cladd said supportively and they continued to walk in silence, and he watched her glance up at him every so often and she would blush.  He thought it was cute really. Eventually they all got to Marta’s cave entrance and she invited them all in.  As they walked in, she pointed the way to the bedrooms and told them to pick one out and get ready for dinner.  Cladd and Angela took the first one they came to and she laid down on the bed.  It will be good to not sleep on the ground tonight she thought to herself.  She was sore all over her body. Cladded laid down next to her and wrapped his arms around her.  He looked at her hair and a little sad that her brown hair was gone, but her eyes were the same and she still had her freckles that he loved so much.  “I can hear your thoughts you know.” She said to him and cuddled up close to him.  “I suppose I should go look in the mirror to see what I look like now.  Even Emmaline was surprised.”  Angela got up and walked over to the mirror.  She was stunned what she saw, her brown hair was gone replaced with this long white, shimmering hair that looked exactly like her father’s hair.  Her fingernails matched her wings and her skin seemed brighter.  She did keep her freckles and she was glad for that; she knew that Cladd loved them. She looked back at Cladd and he was sound asleep.  She cuddled up next to him and fell asleep herself. Adden and Emmaline walked together, and it was first time they were alone together.  He knew that she was his mate, and he could sense that she knew it too.  She was stiff and quiet.  He was so conflicted what if she did not want him.  It was not like when he with Delilah, it was such a pull he could not deny the attraction or the desire.  It had crossed all boundaries between them.  This was a much different feeling for him.  He avoided touching her just so he had time to process everything. Emmaline picked the next room and went in it.  It had king size bed in it, and she asked him if he would rather have such a big bed just trying to say something. Her heart was in her throat, was he going to reject her?  Was she summoned all the way here for this?  He had called out to her, if he knew it or not, she was here because of him.  She stood at the door and looked at him with her electric blue eyes. “See you at dinner then.” Adden said to her and walked back the way they came.  He had slept long enough, the last thing he wanted to do was lay down.  Besides, he had to have some discussion with Marta. Emmaline watched him walk away and she could feel her heart in her chest.  She slowly closed the door hoping that he would turn and look back and as he turned the corner he did glance back and she smiled at him and he smiled back.  She closed the door and leaned up against it and took in a breath like she had been holding it for the last 5 minutes.  She smiled to herself happy that he had looked back.  At least it was a step in the right direction. She noticed a hot bath waiting for her and she was glad to have one.  Once in awhile out in the woods you come across hot springs but there have not been on this trip.  She wanted to make an impression tonight at dinner.  She thought of him as she washed herself, how handsome he was and her heartbeat quickened with the thought of him touching her.  She could feel herself feeling aroused and reached down to touch herself and it felt good, she let her mind drift thinking about him touching her where she was touching herself and it was making her more and more sensitive and she let her thoughts go about him and how it would feel to lay with him and the way he smiled at her as she walked around the corner and suddenly, she was climaxing and it felt so good.  Adden walked back into the living room area and looked around for Marta, he could hear her in the other room and followed the noise.  It was sort of a kitchen area with a hearth and pot and a table, but it also had a counter.  He sat down at one of the chairs and looked at her.  She pretended that she didn’t notice when he walked in, but he knew better.  “I will take some tea if you have some.” He said to her. She gave him some tea and did not really look at him, she set a place for herself across from and sat down. She took a deep breath and looked at him. “What were her last words?” He said quietly looking at his tea. “She said ‘Please make sure she knows that she came from, a great love that forsaken all other in our world. I love you to the depths of the heavens and back.’ She said the last part to Angela right before she cut the cord.”  Marta looked at Adden while she spoke. “Did she suffer?” Adden asked with tears in his eyes. “No. She was ready, she was brave.” Marta said trying to give support to Adden she reached out and touched his hand “You could not have been there, she had to do it alone. You have to be here right now, this was your purpose.” Adden let the tears fall out of his eyes, for him this all fresh, all new.  For him he had just seen a few her hours ago.  Marta just let him cry and knew it would be best for him. Even though the mating bond was attached to someone else he still had a great love for Delilah and that still take some time to heal. “Go get yourself cleaned up and come back and eat some dinner with us.  You will be getting hungry soon, it has been a long time since you have eaten and the magic will be wearing off soon that kept you alive for so long.” Marta took his tea and walked back to the table.
