His heavy footsteps echoed the hallway as he approached Emmalines Fathers’ cell. He had so many thoughts running through his head, but what he wanted most was answers. He was going to get them at any cost today. He stopped in front of the cell holding the most despicable person he ever known to exist. Adden stood as tall and formidable as he possibly could looking down his nose at him. He was mostly bald with beady little eyes; he was missing a few teeth with rounded shoulders and a portly belly. He looked back at Adden without trying to hold back the evil thoughts in his mind. He had known that it was risky to show up at the ceremony, but he needed to see it to believe it. He had always told himself that she finaly went off to die. She did not die, she lived, she always lived.
