Angela could only feel Cladd’s hand in hers and she was not going to let go. She was afraid of losing him, he seemed confused, but he trusted her without hesitation. The darkness was confusing and then she saw it, the dim small light. She spread her wings and pulled Cladd close to her with a strength she did not know she had; his weight didn’t even matter to her. He was face to face with her and she could see his eyes, his big beautiful brown eyes. Her heart skipped a beat and then looked forward headed to the light. Time here seemed strange to her, she felt like she should have been there by now but the light was still very dim. Maybe it was moving away from her, maybe is was a trap.
