The three of them stood in the center of Stella’s room. Angela looked at Stella and wondered how much she knew. She was fairly sure nothing since she had been quiet and in deep thought. “Okay, come close to me. It is time to go.” Angela pulled them into her circle. “Stella, close your eyes. I do not need you to be fearful in this moment.” Stella did as she was told and held on to Cladd.
Angela released her wings and wrapped them around the three of them, Angela touched Cladd and then with a flash of light they were gone. Just as they disappeared guards charged the door in full battle gear. She knew that the King could not be held off for too long, his intent was to kill them both before she got there.
