Darkness abounds

Angela woke up with a terrible headache and the stench that assaulted her nose made her nauseated.  Her eyes were greeted with darkness, her skin was greeted with a cold breeze that was wet.  Then an excruciating pain burned from her back, she reached back to comfort herself and she noticed her wings were gone. Panic in the darkness, she got to her knees and found the wall.  As she laid her hand on it the moss was slimy feeling and she slipped back down to her knees.  She attempted once again to stand and she slipped and fell back to her knees. “On your knees is where you belong, you can keep trying to stand up, but you cannot without your wings.” The voice was deep and crackled and she did not recognize it. “Where I am?  Where is my Father?” Angela asked, surprised that she could bar
