As Carlos drove them off to work, Gabriella sat in silence with her mind clouded with worry. She hadn't heard from Micheal since yesterday.
She was excited that their team had won, don't get her wrong bit she was still worried about Micheal. She looked down at her phone for the umpteenth time.
"Are you waiting for a call?" Carlos asked noticing her behavior.
Gabriella immediately put down her phone. "No"
"If you say so". After pondering upon what to do, Gabriella decided to call Micheal. As expected, he didn't pick up.
"I'm worried" she voiced aloud unknowingly.
"About what?"
"Sorry, I didn't realize I spoke out loud". Gabriella jumped as her phone chimed. It was message from Micheal. It read;
'Sorry but I'll appreciate if you didn't call for a while. I'm busy with work'.
