I kept my head down as I moved along the sidewalk, doing my best to blend into the clusters of pedestrians. No one paid me much attention, which was exactly how I wanted it in case those hunters were still lurking. The troubling part was that Bradley knew where I lived, so he might show up sooner or later.
The streetlights had already come on even though the sky hadn’t completely darkened. A cold breeze slid past me and I hugged my arms tighter to my chest.
I was a bit sad.
