Chapter 4 False sister arrives

The house was quiet though it was already lunch time. Brother and sister set together eating fresh parmesan chicken with noodles in herb and cheese sauce. Neither was looking forward to the woman who would be arriving in a little while. 1 would be hiding as results of her coming. While the other would have to act loving and dotting to the false sister. He only showed that gentle side to her and to him the idea of having to act that way to another felt wrong. Sure he would show that side of him to his mate but at 23 he was starting to doubt he had one. Most found theirs within a year or two of shifting at 18 but 5 years and he had not yet. " You will be moved down here but I've already prepared your room. I took out a wall to enlarge it but you will still have to go across hall to go to bathroom" Jaz nodded at Timars words not really in mood to talk as until this was over this was last time they would openly act as siblings.

As the car stopped in front of the large two story house a girl with black hair falling to middle of her back got out. She was 19 and had jade green eyes and was nearly as dark tanned as the boss. They had chosen her as she resemble the siblings and was showing promise as a warrior. Though young she was strong and definitely looked forward to being pampered for a while by the boss. He wasn't the Royals but was chosen by the royals to act as the boss of this area. It was said he was only kind to his sister. That he might give small trinkets to women he slept with but all knew he was really just using them to satisfy his needs. As she appears at the door it opens and a young girl bows to her and takes her small duffle.

Jaz gritted her teeth acting her part " Young miss it been so long I hope you are well" She says in a clear voice for any spy's who might be watching. The girl blinks and looks at the girl thinking. She must be bosses sister. She beautiful and elegant this must be from a pampered life unlike that of mine as an orphan. Yet she smiles and dips her head pretending to be the lady of the house." Oh how polite of the servant girl my brother did well teaching you manners. Just call me Miss or Miss Rosa will do. Please show me to my room after all it been few years since I been home" This irked Jaz who wanted to tell her off but here in open she must act meekly. So she only bowed leading the way as she wondered about the single bag.

Up in Jasmin room she set the bag down and turned to face the false sister. A frown was on her face as she watched the girl excited and giddy reaction to room checking everything. "Timar is my brother do not think you will take my only family from me. You may have only brought so little so he'd have to spend money on you. Yet remember this it's all pretend only his mate deserves to be treated lavishly" With that she turned and walked out. She didn't care if what she said was rude this girl was rude first and had treated her poorly in front of everyone. She should be greatful for this chance yet had acted as if it was owed to her. This was not how she had been brought up to act so for someone to come in and act like that was wrong.

Rosa relaxed on bed watching the large screen TV and eating popcorn. She had took a long luxurious bath and washed her hair. Then had checked the closet and found nothing this was unexpectable. She was supposed to be royalty and should be lavished as such. So she would talk to the boss when he returns and point out she needed fine clothing and stuff too look the part. Yet for now she was enjoying just being lazy eating snacks and sipping on fine wine. She was happy that she been choose and didn't even care that the true sister of boss was downstairs going about doing chores. She deserved this and would do what she could do to persuade the boss into keeping her even after this mission was over.

Down stairs the door slamming alerted Rosa to Rico and Timar arrivel. She rushes to run down stairs to meet them. As she reaches bottom of the stairs she heard Jasmine " Brother she's here and treating me like dirt " She turns the corner to see Jasmine being held tenderly by Timar who was scowling. His green eyes cold as he listens to his sister who was in near tears. He looks up glaring daggers at her. Rosa swallows hard and bows " Boss I'm sorry if I upset little sister. We was outside and I thought it was best to put on airs just in case someone wishing harm on her was watching. I I I had to make it appear she was but a servant in the house" She knelt to show submission though she was angry to do so. The boss had just arrived and already his sister was trying to cause them a rift. That just would not work

After dinner Rosa was sitting on the porch when Rico and Timar steps out. She hurriedly stands and jumps into his arm. " Big brother you came to check on me how sweet. Will you be free tomorrow?" Reluctantly he hugs her before pushing her gently away. Rico started to scold his trainie when Timar shook his head slightly. " I will not be free for next several days little one. Do you require something?" Timar asked threw gritted teeth but sounded soft and concerned as he looked at her. She looked crest fallen as she put a hand on his arm. A pout graced her lips as she looked at him. " Traveling from overseas I had to leave my stuff so sister was needing clothes and beauty stuff. After all shall I not be hosting or attending parties with other wealthy families." Timar frowned at this. Is she serious nothing in plan said I would have to buy stuff for her. He knew she grew up an orphan but a sweet older family had took her in and made sure she was cared for and had lacked for nothing. The orphanage was small as they did not use it but as a temporary place till they found a family who could take in and care for a child. So though she didn't grow up with a lot she hadn't been lacking. " Rico can take you and Jasmin as I will not have it said I am a cold boss who doesn't provide for my staff. Of course you may get better clothes and stuff than a mear maid and things you'll need to fit in little one " With that he walked off leaving her behind. He didn't see the flash of anger in her eyes as she realized she'd have to take his sister.
