Chapter 4 Harry lived in a sprawling, white-clapboard ranch home nestled in the lush woodland richness of Rustic Canyon. It was built on a half-acre lot with a pool, a hot tub, and a redwood deck. He’d converted one of the three bedrooms into an office, another into an exercise room. There he had a set of weights, a wall-to-wall gym mat, and a fifty-inch television. He’d sold the treadmill Lucille had bought him years ago. He detested those devious machines with their tiny, embedded computers that insisted on controlling him while attempting to coach or entertain.
