Esther arrived at Wilson Airport on January 17, 2020. Joseph met her at the airport and brought her to Karen. In the days since Harry’s unfortunate incident, he’d tried to calm down, but his sleep was still restless, his days fitful and unproductive. During that time, he’d spoken with her every night on the phone, and eventually he’d shared it all. Except for one detail. The first thing he said to her when she got out of Joseph’s car was “They got the ring.”
