Chapter 15 Later that evening in his bungalow, Harry showered and dressed for dinner. It wasn’t that his clothes needed to be more formal. He just liked the idea of sitting down to a meal in a fresh shirt. Even though he’d intended to dine alone as he’d told Aldo, he phoned Esther. After all, he had to tell her about the trip to Nairobi, and he needed her answer to the important question of whether she wanted to go. When she came on the line, he heard loud noises in the background. She obviously wasn’t at home. She must be in a bar or perhaps a busy store. “What’s all that noise? Where are you?” he wanted to know. “Oh,” she said. “I’m out with Alice. I must get to know this boyfriend of hers before it becomes serious. If he pays for dinner, it will be a good sign. But I’m not optimist
