Chapter 34 Harry was useless, fretting all day. He could have used his computer, in the way Esther had suggested, to call her. But he couldn’t, or wouldn’t. He wasted most of the afternoon watching a day-old YouTube of unexciting football as Arsenal trounced some team he’d never heard of. Later, after he’d tucked himself in early and without supper, instead of sleeping, his mind raced. Why was Esther so upset? Was it because he’d finally expressed his nagging suspicions? She must know by now that he could be indecisive by nature, and waiting around all these weeks for their project to progress didn’t help, especially since he was stuck here in Nairobi, which was never meant to be home. It was obvious to him now that Aldo must have been communicating with Esther all the while they’d left
