Hunting vampires was dangerous business. Even the most experienced Reapers couldn't take on a young higher vampire by themselves and an encounter with more than one, always proved to be fatal. Most Reapers would never take on such a risky job, no matter the payment offered. In times past, when a higher vampire was spotted in town, several Reapers would team up with priests and shamans to take on the dangerous hybrid.
