Heads hung low in shame as a hundred scarred feet marched in line, leaving behind a trail of blood on the cruel asphalt.  Eyes which had seen happier times were now filled with an inexplicable sense of fear. The once proud citizens of a great nation were dragged through the streets like cattle. Their humanity trampled under the hooves of winged white stallions. Whips cracked and the air resounded with the anguished screams of the helpless prisoners. Their tears evoked neither pity, nor the slightest touch of mercy.
