Back on earth, David finally opened his eyes. When he looked around, he found himself inside a small room with no furniture except a nightstand and a double bunk bed. The room had just one glass window high up on the wall which barely allowed any sunlight to filter through, except during the afternoon hours. The only source of reliable light was a small white candle burning on the nightstand. “Hello? Is anyone there?” David cried out in his muffled voice. As he tried to move, he almost tripped over.
