Snipers stood ready at the rooftops, with their scopes focused on Vinea. They feared for the young Captain’s life. If Vinea wanted, it would have been all too easy for him to wipe them out like insects, but he chose to indulge himself. Instead of attacking the Captain, he walked up to him to initiate conversation. It took a great deal of courage to fight against a demon, and even more to face one, unarmed. Vinea admired the soldier’s confidence. “Give me one good reason, why I shouldn’t kill you right now,” Vinea said, unfurling his enormous black wings.
