Noah sat on the ground. His nose was bleeding and he was having a hard time breathing. I ran to him and helped him stand up. Before I could walk him to the car Rafael harshly grabbed me by the arm.
"Just leave him" Rafael pleaded.
"He's injured. Not everyone can be a heartless person like you!" I shot back and continued walking towards Noah's Honda.
"Goddamnit! Diana why do you have to be so complicated?" he ran his hands through his hair in frustration.
"Look, you go around sleeping with anyone whom you please, right? Well don't interfere with me. I love Noah. Not you. We were forced to marry. So don't ever think I belong to you" I glared and started the car. I could see him standing, through the rearview mirror, as I drove away.
