CHAPTER 2
Hearing the devastation coming from his Dragoste because of his mishandling of their first meeting, tore apart his very soul. Kahn couldn't believe how stupid he had been and was at a loss as to how to repair the damage he had done.
Dropping his head, in sorrow, Kahn whispered, "I wish I had handled the situation differently, Joop. I wish I could turn back time and make that day everything you had ever wanted it to be. I understand if you don't want me as your mate."
"I didn't say that." Joop said quietly.
Sighing, Kahn replied, "I can't go back in time, Joop, but I can tell you that if you decide to give me another chance, I will make your future the best any mate has ever experienced. You will want for nothing and I will spend every moment trying to make up for that day."
