CHAPTER 6
Joop was never so happy to see a place as he was the dragon’s lair. He was tired, sore, and sweaty. All Joop wanted was to get Kahn out into the sun so his mate could heal and then he could rest.
Going through the tunnel and into what Joop called, "The Golden Cave," Joop ignored Kahn's surprised gasp, saying, "You can check it out later, for now, you need to heal."
Going through the center tunnel, Joop made his way past the table and chairs and in the direction Colby had given him before they separated.
Joop damn near dropped Kahn when he gasped, and fell to his knees.
