CHAPTER 8
Joop felt something heavy holding him down. It was like he was snagged in some weeds deep in the water. Trying to move away, he felt the weeds tighten and something tickling his nose.
Smacking at the annoying sensation, Joop could have sworn he heard Ian, "Damn, he was f****d into a coma."
"Ian, leave him alone. He has to be exhausted from his ordeal." Ricky said.
Joop's eyes flew open when he heard hissing, screaming, and a cat and bear snarl, "What the f**k!"
The first thought Joop had was, damn, my mate's ass is fine. The second was, holy f**k, they had been found.
Jumping from the bed, Joop yelled, "Get away from my mate!"
That's when he saw a bat flying around Kahn's head as he slapped at it, and a saber-toothed tiger circling his mate trying to decide where to attack
