Nadia: listen ok my dad and mom where taken away from me at our safe house and I know that has something to do with these names. I don't know what ashborn, it was my first time hearing. I would love to know what it is before barging in and being a burden so can someone explain.

Peggy: well it is...

Cassie: I'll take it from here Peggy, well Uhm I kinda don't know your name....

Nadia: its Nadia.

Cassie: well beautiful name by the way ok so here's the deal ashborn is a resistance that also acts as a safe haven for those who don't want to be found by by this organisation called genesis order.

Nadia: yeah my dad also had that name written.

Cassie: we try our best to save all those who have been captured while also having fun sabotaging their equipment that way they can't experiment on us. we fight for those who can't fight for themselves you know. we also had people on the outside who usually helped us with food and water and weapons but for some reason who ever they are stopped now we are here scavenging for food to feed the thousands of people who are under the protection of the ashborn resistance but it's kinda hard we know absolutely nothing of where to start.

Nadia: I can help I passed a dozen stores on my way before I met you guys we could just go back plus autumn has a sense for these things.

Cassie: ok then , gather up everyone Nadia is going to take us to were we can get something to eat so let's go before the sun goes down.

Nadia: ok autumn lead the way girl.

Cassie: I never asked, what brought you out here all alone.

Nadia: well about three months back I foolishly got us caught, my parents were taken and me well I ran like a scared cats when it came to it .... I guess I didn't have the courage nor the spine. I regret and feel guilty everytime I think about it. so I took my dad's map and gun and some food and hit the road. on the mapje wrote that the ashborn was a safe haven, so I am heading there maybe I could get someone to help me safe my parents.

Cassie: hmm, that sounds messed up, for what it's worth I am sorry. but wait you said three months back that's the about the same time our suppliers stopped showing could it all just be a coincidence.

Nadia: I wouldn't be be surprised at this point there's still alot I don't know about my parents. anyways we are here grab as much as you can find before we leave its not safe here at night.

they grabbed as much as they could find after that we left with bags of food even autumn carried a bag of her own. we headed for the ashborn. before we could reach our destination the day gave way to night so we found a place to camp out and sleep.

I felt safe than I ever was cause I knew they would let me be harmed or anything. so morning came and we headed to the ashborn who were securely hidden in caves and in those caves there was life, a garden and actually people I was so happy.

I was taken in by the elders there , they had to around my mom and dad's age or younger. they questioned me and I found out that my mom and dad were part of this resistance and that they were the suppliers, they also found out that they were captured.

I told them about my plans to save them and how I needed help to save them. they looked at me like I spoke forbidden words.one of them who later introduced themselves as Lucie mentioned to me that it wasn't my parents the order wanted it was me and every other child who has not been infected by the virus and that I would be putting everyone at risk by going to save my family.

Nadia: come on I know that you would do the same for your family or your child. I can't continue like this knowing that I led this organisation to my parents because of my foolishness and selfishness.

I broke into tears not knowing what to do so I leaned on her shoulder.

Lucie: it's ok , it's ok now tell why you say such a thing, what happened.

Nadia: everything started happening after I was suspended at school [sniffs] after that things changed like I set off a ticking time bomb we went into hiding, my parents completely changed and like that wasnt enough I got into a fight with my parents right before they got captured. I snuck out when I came back I was scolded we had supper everything was quite we went to bed and everything was quite then all of a sudden our door was knocked down tear gas filled the whole cabin and before I knew it I was hiding in the woods waiting for the cabin to clear up cause I have no where else to go. all of this was all my fault and they know it.

Lucie: come here darling, I too have a daughter like you and just like you and your parents we fight alot sometimes we go days without speaking but she knows and understands that I love her deeply and can never hurt her or stop loving her. the love is just there and I am sure your parents don't hold whatever you did against you they love you and have up their freedom to save you.

Nadia: so where is your daughter.

Lucie: she is in one of the facility undercover with a bunch of other kids. she wanted to go but I was against it and she went regardless. anyways go freshen up and join the other kids you can't just be hanging out with me, ok go on. if you need anything you know where to find me.

Nadia: thanks alot I really needed that.

the other kids were nice we sang , joked and laughed around a cosy fire and I felt welcomed like it was home.
