"I don't get why she's so upset with me", I was speaking to no one in particular but Kevin stood quietly at a corner, probably zoned out. "I mean, she asked to see her father, right? I was just helping."
"Uhun", he nodded absentmindedly.
"Now, she doesn't even want to speak to me anymore. We were doing quite good until...", I grunted out in frustration, running a hand through my hair before gulping down an entire glass of water.
