I couldn’t wait for her to call me.
Staring at the shocked look on her face, I began to regret my actions. Maybe I shouldn’t have come. I thought about my wolf warning me not to come to her but wait for her to come to me, but my worried mind could never let me.
“Hello, Clara.” I said and cleared my throat, I glanced into the house, desperate to shift the purpose of my presence to Nico, but to my dismay, I caught no sight of him, “I…came to check up on Nico. Is he in?”
