DOMINIC’S POV
“They are still searching the area, Dominic.” Kevin announced, he was staring at the ground with a frown, Ruby standing by his side. “I don’t know how this was possible but the trails of their cars seemed to vanish overnight. Now, the men are left with nothing to follow, but they are still searching nonetheless.”
“What about our trackers, huh?” I asked with a sigh as I walked past him and perched on the arm of a couch, “Haven’t they picked up the boy’s scent?”
“No, Dominic, they haven’t.” He replied, “but we still have them out there too. And the archers on the trees, in case they spot anything. All attempts have been futile so far.”
“f**k!” I exclaimed and slammed my fist on the couch. “Clara will be down any minute now and we do not have good news for her?
