I knew something was wrong when I didn't get my period for two months. I never had a smooth cycle so I wasn't really troubled when they didn't happen the first time but their absence in the second consecutive month got me worried. My body had undergone certain changes I knew weren't normal and I was worrying myself to death, thinking about some kind of deadly disease that would kill me in a few months.
