The hands of the fate

When we met

Kio

I was woken up by my beta, Dem, through our mind link. 'Alpha Kio, there has been a rogue attack in the north border', he informs me. 'Ok i will be there in a minute. Go get the others ready', i order him and close our mind link. I slowly get up from my bed and get ready to go out. In the past few years there has been frequent rogue attack. Since those weird incidents started to take place and our power seems to be weakening, this gave our enemies the perfect opportunity to attack us. But they have not succeeded once yet. 

When i reach the battle ground, Dem and the others are already tearing most the rogues down. I quickly shift into my wolf form and start tearing them down. They keep coming but we outnumbered them. And finally they give in and runs off the rest of the rogues. But they will come back again. I lost three of my men and some are injured but the rest are fine. The injured are taken straight to the pack hospital and the rest i give them order to rest for today. When i look at the time, i see I'm late for my school today. Since there is only one high school in Rivers Creek, all of us, the supernatural and the ordinary humans go to the same school. I quickly take a shower and change into a fresh clothes and grabbed my keys and dashed towards my car. I drive as fast as i could and parked my car in my spot and ran for my class.

Luie

Rivers Creek High School was not so different from other high schools. People didn't care about much you and some totally ignored me and only few smiled at me. I was actually happy about it. I don't want to attract unnecessary attention and I want to graduate as quietly as possible without causing any problems. Ms. Martins, our English professor, enters the class and everybody takes their sit and begins to start our lesson, when suddenly i smell the most beautiful scent which reminds me of the forest. The scent gets stronger and then the door opens and I see the most gorgeous man i have ever seen. He is tall and strong build with dark hair and the dark eyes that seems to call me and get drown in it.

As soon as i see him i know he is the voice. I can't take my eyes off him and then our eyes meet. I don't know how but i know that he is the voice from my dream. 'You are late Mr Kio Wood.', Ms Martins says and brings me back from my trance. 'I am sorry Ms Martins ', the voice or Mr. Kio Wood says. 'I hope you won't make it your habit. And next time come on time', Ms Martins tells him without much interest. 'Of course Ms Martins', the voice replies without taking his eyes off me. 'Then you may take your sit Mr Wood.' He is still looking at me as he walks towards his desk. I feel funny as if my whole body sprinkled in pixie dust and my feet wasn't on the ground. He takes his sit and gives me the most beautiful smile. I feel butterflies in my stomach  and i feel warmth all over my body.

When i enter the building the most beautiful scent hits my nostrils.  I have never smelled anything like this.  As i get closer to my class, the scent gets stronger. I enter Ms Martins' class and look for the person with that toxicating smell which is making my wolf go crazy. And then i see her, the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. She is short with long straight hair let loosely on her shoulder and she is also looking at me with her beautiful green eyes. Gaven, my wolf, suddenly start shouting,  'mate mate' in my head. He wants to take over but i have to stop him, its not the right time. She doesn't smell like a werewolf nor completely human.  I don't know what exactly is she. I have to find it out, after all she is my luna.

As soon as the class get over, i walk towards her. She is busy packing up her things but stops as soon as she sees me coming towards her. I say, 'hi I'm Kio Wood.' She doesn't reply immediately. She seems flustered. 'Umm... hi' slowly she introduced herself 'I'm Luie Willious.' I have never seen her before , ' i don't think I have seen you before. Where are you from?' She seems a little bit taken aback by my sudden query, 'yeah i just moved here recently.' I can feel she is trying to get away from me. Maybe i scared her. But she is my mate i have to find out about her.

I know what he is.... a werewolf. When I was a kid, we used to live here in Rivers Creek with grandma. One day I was playing near the woods when I felt someone was watching me fromthe shadows. I look up and suddenly a werewolf jumps from the shadows on me and i screamed in fear. I was unconscious when my parents found me and when I told them that I a werewolf jumped on me. Of course they didn't believe me. They thought I must have seen some wild animal. But only my grandma believed me. She told me that the werewolves were real and they lived in those woods. They live among humans and in the full moon they change into wolves. 

As i grew up, we moved to the city and i forgot about that day. But as he is approaching towards me, i suddenly remember that day and they fear i felt. I have to go out of this room from his proximity as far as possible. But i am magnetised by his eyes. I can't move myself i just sit there as he approaches near. He introduces himself as Kio Wood. I don't want to talk to him i want to run away from him. But my body doesn't follow my brain's order. I want to feel his touch on my body, his lips on mine, his..... What am i doing?  I have to runaway from him fast! I manage to find my voice and tell him,' i have a class. I'm sorry but I gotta go.' And without another second i pick my bag and run out of the room.
