Alarmed, we were all hurdled soon Alan came running in with a big gash on his chest and his left arm was missing completely, with a few more steps to get to us, he slumped.

Ethan grabbed his shotgun quickly, Amber started crying, the whole group was in a panicking state, Billy rushed over to the collapsed Alan and Jacquelyn followed him.

We all soon followed suit and gathered around, Billy was crouching while Jacquelyn was kneeling, He is dead, He is dead! Billy repeated.

Kraaksh!! a twig snap sound brought us out of shock, a low growl reverberated, looking around with extreme caution, Beatrice was the First to bolt, running in the opposite direction of the sound and that action was the only thing needed to break our composure.

Everyone ran in different directions, I ran with all my might I had this nagging feeling that it was after me, with a loud grunt I stumbled side ways down the slope, twisting my ankle and rolling down with momentum till I got to a river

I knew that river from the maps, it was the river separating Cornwell From Plymouth.

I tried standing back up, my legs were useless, the throbbing pain trying to overshadow me, I pushed it all to the back of my mind I needed to survive first.

Stopping to a crawl I saw a hollow log with an opening wide enough for me to slither through, I slithered into the crevice within the log and laid there hoping that it would all pass.

I didn't know how long I was in the log because soon 8 heard a rustling sound, something was climbing the log, through the opening I saw a wolf-like head staring across the river, its teeth glistening with saliva under the brightness of the full moon.

I froze in shock and at that moment we looked at each other, with lightning quick movement, it rammed into the log sending it flying and spiralling out of control and smashing into a nearby tree, breaking the tree, shattering the log sending splinters and shards flying.

My vision became blurry, the pain enveloping my whole body, my arms were twisted in weird angles, there's a shard protruding out of my thigh. I could hear it coming closer, I guess it's today I die, I'm sorry Father I should have listened to you, I couldn't be the son you wanted, Mother please don't cry too much I'm sorry I caused you pain, Cedric and Smith I'm going to miss both of you.

I could feel it sinking its teeth into my flesh, I could hear people calling my name, the light grew brighter and my eyelids became heavy, closing my eyes I got pulled under.
