After that day at the garden where Laci quarrelled with her mother, I saw less of her mother. It had been three days now and the Queen mother was still not coming to the palace.
I hoped I wasn't the reason she had decided not to come to the palace again. I didn't want to be a bad person. As it was, I had already being labeled all sorts of names already. I really didn't want more.
I think Laci was already through with her festivities at her place. She might come today. I missed her and Niyol.
I just hoped that Niyol came home soon so he could resolve the issue between his mother and Laci. I really didn't want to be the reason why they would stop talking to each other.
There was a knock on my door before it was pushed open. A maid came in carrying my breakfast.
