Unceasing Growth

life's accidents

In the early morning of August 12th, Xia He, a sales assistant at Jiangnan Wandong Elevator Co., Ltd., was preparing to head to the bid-opening site for the elevator equipment procurement project at the old campus of Yuanzhou Municipal People's Hospital. When she took the elevator in Jinlin Community, the elevator suddenly malfunctioned and plummeted rapidly. Xia He took emergency protective measures, and the elevator eventually got stuck between two floors. Her mobile phone signal was blocked, making it impossible to contact the outside world, so she could only pat the walls and shout for help.

Shortly before 8 o'clock, a resident reported the elevator failure to the property management. A new property staff member found that Xia He was trapped, but the property manager took it lightly, telling the new staff to contact the elevator company for rescue while he planned to go to the community later. At this moment, with the bid-opening time approaching, Xia He was filled with despair and anxiety.
