Giggling from his easy ways, she watched as he scored another avocado with his knife, whacked the brown seed and withdrew it with the blade of the knife. After discarding the pit, he repeated the procedure with another avocado.
To her amazement, he gouged the fruit out from the skins with his fingers and placed it into a bowl. Peeking at the simmering bagel slices, he added a little virgin olive oil, a little pepper and crushed-Chile to the green mix. Taking a wooden spoon he turned the avocado into paste.
