Chapter Thirteen Carol Bows stood in front of the Coffee and Leaf wearing her knee length black leather coat, black jeans and flat-heeled leather boots. Her girlfriend Mary, actually another patient, a kinda funky, edgy brunette poet, a very pretty girl dressed in faded jeans, black boots and her own leather jacket stood next to her. Mary was thirty, lean, oddly beautiful, a talented artist, though a tad masculine and like Carols other patient had simply given up on ever meeting a girl, she was gay of any substance. Carol Bows was dying to get the two girls together, because in a very complicated world, one just never knew. Folks were coming and going and they were the usual suspects.
