The Chief-Priest continuously tends to decode the palm of the curious and depressed Governor. His luck had run out on him when his fate was looked upon. It seemed that he was born with a fate higher than the position he had now. They couldn’t understand his bhagyarekha (fate-line) of his palms. The high-priest suspected him to have the position that he has since his birth. Perhaps, it was his destiny to be a Governor since his birth. The Governor had high hopes of acquiring the knowledge about his marriage to the lady Athena but seeing even the holy and the wisest man on the east fail to read his palm-line gets despondent. He was afraid whether a serious punishment was going to be given to his love. But to his knowledge she hadn’t committed any crime worth death penalty or a life sentence
