RACE AND CHANCE

In the space of racing, chance speaks. You may have the chance to succeed or fail, to take the trophy or return home empty.Chance is one of the elements in life that needs to be desired so dearly when it comes to the race of life . In the world of competition skills and chances can easily change your performance and your world. Race opperate in timing so is chance . Each of them standing alone it's a frustration in the journey of life. Skills well prepared and chances which are opportunities give us victory. King Solomon in his writing in Ecclesiastes 9:11 says " i have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner does not always win the race,and the strongest warrior does not always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives . It's all decided by chance,by been at the right place at the right time ".

King Solomon used the word"not always " just to make it known that sometimes the winning trophy is given to the strongest,the fastest and the wise. In this case running the race is also depended on how you build your potentials . Build your skills before adding the chance. The race of life becomes easier when chance (favour) is involved. You need the skills, the strength, the wisdom, the abilities, with the chances to run the race to win.

Many will say " he is not qualified but he got the chance". Don't undermine chances when they come your way. Chances are scarce but happened to men who are prepared towards the race. King David was one of them that went through this process of preparation and chances. He was in the bush building up his skills of fight in confronting wild animals. When the battle is set between him and Goliath the skills and chances spoke his victory. Witnesses create automatically a song of victory for him to be celebrated. Nations are ready to celebrate your victory and trophy. You may have the ability to win but you need the favour of God. Your strength may fail but not that of God. Skills plus chances is a banner of success and victory .
