RACE AND ENDURANCE
Endurance is one of the ingredients of people that do not accept defeat. It makes us stand the test of life. Anyone that do endure the affliction in the race will surely have the crown at the end. We must be able to face the race and all that come with it. There no race without endurance.For your muscles to stand in space of race you need to endure . It's an element of strength. How can we have battle in the day and sleep at night ? You must be able to face the activities of the night so you can be able to face the race of the day.
In our dispensation no one is ready to endure. No one is ready to pass through difficult moments. No one is ever ready to face challenges. Because after the pain there is joy. Pain may come at night but you will experience joy in the morning. Even in matrimonial home no one is ready to endure the package that comes with it. Everybody wants it in the easiest way. We are so desparate to have it at all costs without paying any price. Malachi 3:2 says " but who will be able to endure it when it comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metals ,or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes ! "
No one is ready to go through the blazing of fire to be refined like gold. Many people that made it and have the crown of life in this world had stood, endured, and faced the blazing fire. In boxing or wrestling,it doesn't matter the amount of beatings you receive; you need to go through,endure until the winner is been declared. The belt of championship is waiting for them. If you want to get there, you need to fight for it.Champions don't give up on the road. Even our lord Jesus Christ never give up on the cross because he knows there is a crown awaiting him.Paul said in James 5:11 " we give great honour to those who endure under suffering.For instance, you know about job a man of great endurance. You can see how the lord was kind to him at the end, for the lord is full of tenderness and mercy ."
Once the journey of race is started then you must get ready to get to the end. Not just ending it but finish it well by winning the trophy. No one is ready to loose whatever he or she has suffered for . They don't want their efforts to be in vain. So you must run to win. We are all expecting a greater reward at the end. The journey of life is tough but we have to end it well. The end product is very important as productivity is concerned. The end product which is your fruits determine how well the tree was planted and nutured .
2timoty 4:7 " I have fought a good fight,i have finished the race,and have remained faithful." Good soldiers fight a good fight without living a trace of weakness.The make sure they end it well. Don't give up, don't be tired on the way, don't accept defeat . Enven though the journey is long, far but you shall surely get to the destination. The destination is full of glory. I pray for you that God will give you an extra strength to endure whatever will lead you to your crown of victory in Jesus Christ name,Amen.
