Chapter 15: The Written Crown (Epilogue)
Six months later.
The high library of the Sunken Palace—once a ruin of forgotten history—was fully restored. Sunlight poured through tall arched windows, illuminating endless rows of bound volumes and ancient records.
Calla sat at the head of a massive mahogany desk, reviewing trade agreements and rebuilding plans for the eastern villages. The crimson mark on her shoulder was now a recognized symbol of peace and justice across the entire continent.
Gabriel walked into the quiet room, carrying a freshly bound leather manuscript. He set it down on her desk, right beside her official seal.
"What's this?" Calla asked, raising an eyebrow.
"The official history of the realm," Gabriel said, leaning over her chair and pressing a gentle kiss to her temple. "Written by the archives department. It starts with a girl who walked through a rainstorm with a satchel, and ends with a Queen who changed the world."
Calla opened the cover, looking down at the elegant calligraphy on the first page:
The Silent Heiress and the Ruined Crown — By Agbeleye Deborah.
She smiled, dipping her quill into the dark ink, ready to write the next chapter of her reign.
